Professor Franklyn A. Manu
Board Chairman

Prof. Franklyn A. Manu

Professor Manu is a Professor at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and was the Rector from August 2012 to August 2016. He previously served as Dean of the GIMPA Business School

He has over thirty years of experience in consulting, training, and education. During this period he has exhibited extensive capabilities in strategic planning, programme design, and assessment in higher education. He has been heavily involved in designing and reviewing programmes to improve university and corporate education in such institutions as Loyola College in Maryland (USA), Morgan State University (USA), Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Association of African Business Schools, Global Business School Network, International Academy of African Business and Development, Ghana National Accreditation Board. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Accreditation Committee of the Association of African Business Schools.

He has also consulted for a variety of companies in the areas of strategic planning, marketing strategy development, and corporate social responsibility. Additionally, he has substantial experience lecturing in marketing, business strategy, decision-making, and leadership for corporate education clients.

Professor Manu is Chairman of the MTN Ghana Foundation, the AngloGold Ashanti School, Buck Press, De LaRue Buck Press, and serves on the board of OMD Ghana.

Professor Manu attended Prempeh College from 1967 to 1972 for his O Levels and Mfantsipim School from 1972 to 1974 for his A Levels. He subsequently attended the University of Ghana (BSc) and New York University (MBA, PhD).

Kofi Buckman
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Eric Kofi Buckman

Eric Kofi Buckman is the Chief Executive Officer of Buck Press Limited. He studied Printing at the London College of Printing.
He started his printing career as an apprentice in 1975 at the Akan Printing Press, one of the leading printing houses in Ghana at the time. He started his working life as a merchant, the main focus being importation and factory to factory distribution of alcoholic beverage concentrates.
He established Buck Press Limited in 1980 and became fully operational on 1st May 1987. Like many other establishments, it started ‘small’ and faced many challenges. Today, it has grown to be counted among the five leading printing houses in Ghana. Buck Press is now a fully-fledged Security Print establishment.
He also serves as a director of Soluserv (GH) Limited and De La Rue Buck Press Limited.
Jacob Acquah-Sampson
Non-Executive Director

Jacob Acquah-Sampson

Jacob Acquah-Sampson is the Managing Partner of Acquah-Sampson & Associates and heads its litigation department. He was called to the Ghana Bar in January 1990 and was initially enrolled with the International Bar Association in 1998. He is a Board Member of Metropolitan Entertainment Television Ltd (Metro TV). He was a Team Member of the Ghana Bar Association tasked to review three (3) separate Draft Bills for presentation to Parliament ie. Whistle Blower Bill, Right to Information Bill, Alternative Dispute Resolution Bill and also a member of the Ministerial Legal Task Force set up to Draft the National Health Insurance Regulations.
Louisa Siaw

Mrs. Louisa Siaw

Louisa Siaw is an experienced corporate lawyer with more than 10 years of professional experience. She holds a degree in law LLB (Hons) and a Post Graduate Diploma (PgDip) both from Cardiff University, Wales. She has been called to the Bar of England and Wales and the Ghana Bar.
Her areas of legal expertise are in Corporate and Commercial Transactions and Agreements, Foreign Direct Investments, Structuring Joint Ventures and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Transactions, Insurance, Pensions, Banking, Immigration and Company Secretarial.
She worked as a lawyer with Fugar & Company, a leading law firm in Ghana for seven (7) years. Prior to that, she worked with Lloyds Tsb Asset Finance Division (UK), Legal & General Retail Investments (UK) and AA Insurance Services (UK) over a cumulative period of six (6) years. She is currently the Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary at Axis Pensions Group Ltd, a role she has occupied for over four (4) years. She also acts as company secretary for companies and provides governance advice in those roles.
Louisa is passionate about the legal practice and believes in approaching her engagements with critical thinking, discipline and thoroughness with the view to achieve the best legal and commercial outcome. She is also a bibliophile and loves football.
Francis Nyanin
Executive Director

Francis Nyanin Esq.

Francis Nyanin Esq. is currently the Executive Director of Buck Press. Prior to holding this position, he was the General Manager of the company. He had previously worked at CARE Ghana, a non-governmental organisation as an Accountant/ Administrator, PLAN Ghana as a Country Accountant and as a Senior Accountant at Tower Hamlets Council in the United Kingdom.
He served as a Board Chairman for Asokore Rural Bank from 2014 to 2020.
He is a product of University of Ghana where he acquired his Bachelor of Science degree in Administration (Accounting option). He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from MountCrest University College.
He is also a product of University of London and University of Salford (Manchester, UK) where he acquired MSC. in Finance and LLM in International Commercial Law respectively.
He is an Accountant and a Lawyer by Profession.
Mohammed Tanko

Mohammed Tanko

Mohammed Tanko is a seasoned Information Technology Executive. In the past six years as part of the Ghana Power Compact with the US government MCC, he led the implementation of significant digitalization solutions in the Energy Sector of Ghana. His professional experience in the IT industry spans over 20 years including roles at the World Bank, DHL and Ernst & Young (EY). Mr. Mohammed has a BA in Math from Lehman College, an MS in Computer Engineering from Manhattan College, and an MBA from MIT.
Beatrice Ofei
Non-Executive Director

Beatrice Bridget Ofei

Beatrice Bridget Ofei is an HR Practitioner and the Chief Executive of Aspire-Plus Limited, an HR practice based in Accra, that delivers HRBPO Solutions, Capacity Building and HR Consulting services to companies.
Prior to setting up Aspire-Plus Limited, she worked as the HR Director of Fidelity Bank from 2006 to January 2011 and subsequently as the Customer Care Director from 2011 to June 2012.
She has worked in pioneering roles with responsibility for setting up the HR infrastructure from scratch as well as developing the HR strategy and ensuring the effective implementation of these strategies within Fidelity Bank and Western Telesystems (now Airtel).
Beatrice is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), UK, she has an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Ghana, a Certificate in Coaching from the Coaching Academy, UK and a Certificate in Strategic Performance Management from the Cranfield University, UK She has worked as an HR practitioner for well over 18 years.
Her experience spans the full breadth of HR practice and she specialises in the areas of Organizational Development, Performance Management, Management Development Coaching, and Talent Management.
As the Lead HR Consultant of Aspire-Plus, she has managed and successfully completed a number of HR consulting assignments for medium to large multi-national companies and organizations within the Energy and Power Sector, the Financial Services Sector, the Public Sector and the Telecommunication Sector. She has also consulted for some small to medium companies in the Manufacturing Sector and the Printing Industry.
Emmanuel Offei
Non-Executive Director

Emmanuel Ofosu-Offei

Emmanuel Ofosu-Offei was appointed to the Board of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Limited in March 2005. He holds a BSc. Degree in Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Ghana Business School (1981) where he also served for three years as a Teaching Assistant, part of the period being in fulfillment of his National Service. He trained with Charles Ocansey and Company and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986.
He has been the Managing Partner in the Accounting firm; Boateng, Offei and Company (correspondent firm of Grant Thornton International) since 1991.
He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and has held directorship and consultancy positions in several private and public organizations.
